Marshall County Emergency Management
Marshall County Emergency Management (MCEM) works to protect lives and property by preparing for, responding to, recovering from, and reducing the impacts of disasters of all types. Our mission is to keep the community safe through effective planning, training, public education, and coordinated emergency operations.
MCEM operates under the authority of the Oklahoma Emergency Management Act of 2003 (63 O.S. § 683.1–683.24), which requires each county to maintain an emergency management program and appoint a qualified emergency management director. The Act also mandates the development, maintenance, and annual review of a comprehensive Emergency Operations Plan addressing preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation
Our goal is simple: to ensure Marshall County is ready, resilient, and able to respond effectively to whatever challenges arise.
